VNL Returns to the Philippines
The highly anticipated 2024 Men’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL) is set to spike action at Mall of Asia Arena (MOA) for its Philippine leg from June 18 to 23, 2024.
With their great skills and amazing athleticism, eight (😎 teams will participate with crowd favorites and reigning VNL bronze medalist Japan led by captain Yuki Ishikawa, Ran Takahashi and Yuji Nishida is ready to bring their top-tier performance to the court.
Also joining crowd favorites are the reigning silver medalists USA headed by one of the best setters in the world Micah Christenson. USA and Iran will make their debut appearance in the Philippines, bringing new dynamics and excitement to the arena.
Returning teams are Brazil, France, Germany, Netherlands, and Canada.
The third edition of VNL in the country will serve as the prelude to the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, which will be hosted by the Philippine in September next year. This will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City and Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao Quezon City.
Hosting the VNL helps building momentum and interest in the sport and emphasizes the country’s potential to host major sporting events in the future.
